About the Workshop 

Attendance at this session completes the Initial Training for Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.  This training will enable participants to learn and practice safe, non-harmful techniques to help when confronted with a potential crisis situation.  The training will provide staff with a philosophy of care, non-physical methods for preventing or managing disruptive behaviors before the situation involves physical aggression.  Personal safety, hands-on team control, and team strategies are also included.  Upon successful completion of this session, you will receive a CPI certification card that is good for one year.
