February 9, 2023 Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Blended Refresher Training Program

About the Workshop
This training will consist of two sessions. The first session will be completed through the CPI online classroom. The second session will be in-person at the LEASE office to complete the physical portion of the course. The attendance at this session completes the required yearly Refresher Training for those who have completed the Initial Training for Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training. The Refresher Training will review the core concepts of the Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Program, assist staff with their performances of the skills learned, clarify any questions about application of this program, and continue to keep everyone focused on providing for the care, welfare, safety, and security of the students and staff. Upon successful completion of this session, you will receive a CPI recertification card good for one year.
**THIS TRAINING IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR DISTRICT MEMBERS IN THE LASALLE/PUTNAM EDUCATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION CO-OP**
Pre-registration is required before January 25, 2023.
After registration is closed, a link will be sent via email from “CPI Learning” for the on-line course.
Completion of the on-line course is required before the February 9th in person meeting. Failure to do this will result in your name being taken off the registration list.
Participation in both parts are required to be re-certified.
Parking: Parking is available in front of the building and on both sides of Boyce Memorial Drive. Please use front entrance.
