L.E.A.S.E. has two governing bodies: the Executive Committee and the Alliance Council. The Executive Committee is composed of superintendents from three large member districts, three small member districts, and one from either the small or large group as determined by the Alliance Council.
The Alliance Council is composed of the Superintendent and one school board member, or their alternates, from each member district, and the Regional Superintendent of Schools. The Council is responsible for establishing the educational activities of LEASE, carrying out all mandatory laws, and shall consider the provision of any permissive legislation.
